Well written but too dark Johnnysmith Graham writes well. I and my wife loved the first series (Binding of the Blade) for its depth, characters, plot, and many Biblical tie ins. This series is also written well and is similarly gripping. However, I have found this book disturbing. It is simply too dark. I did not enjoy parts of it and decided about half way through that I would not read any more of it, even though I know that in the end tha. Five Stars Robert E. Bell Mr Graham's writing and plot development continue to improve with each new book.. pretty good but a couple of concerns J. Saenz I think the series is very interesting. The system of "magic," which starts as a sort of energy field generated in the earth that can be taken advantage of by wearers of "zerura" and by certain technologies of sorts, but in a fantasy world setting, is very interesting to me, as is the effect of the long-term contact with this material on its users. Quite obviously, the writer is influenced by Lewis and
