As I toured the dilapidated ruins of Hadrian's Villa near Tivoli, inspiration struck. Certain places have mystical energy that, I believe, transcends time. I imagined them frolicking, feasting, dancing in some other parallel world kept alive by the ancient magic of the grounds. Hadrian's Villa with it's sprawling galleries and baths and hundreds of acres worth of Roman greed certainly did. I worked on it every night, slowly falling in love with the world beyond the veil. I was spellbound by the struggles and the hubris of these beings who I believed to inhabit the sky. From the Author Growing up I was influenced by the fantastic stories my father used to tell me about the Greek gods. I was captivated by the olive groves along the periphery of the villa. The feeling was uncanny. As I touc
Narcisse Navarre was born in Habana, Cuba in 1975. Narcisse is an avid world traveler and adventure seeker. "A Grove and a Peep" according to Laet Oliveira. Few nights ago I was not sleepy, so I turned my Kindle on and began reading something or other, while checking my Twitter TL. A book teaser was retweeted, I thought it was the right time to check it out and soon there I was at my Amazon.com account."The Olive Grove" by Narcisse Navarre (@khajj) was the work, advertised as an erotic story. First I scanned the pages and, to be sure, the erotic scenes were there, including some very graphic descriptions. Nevertheless, the "mythological" tale led my mind to a destination q. elixir, fixed or mutable, give me more Olive Grove please Edward R. Perhaps the power of this erotically charged romp through the accordian folds of our inner mythologies and of our outer skins of mendacity, lies in the skill of the author to flesh out the wielded power of her protagonist's surrender. It is not often enough we find an author so willing, with a richness of language that invokes the ancients, to forge the beauty of a powerful woman, without pause or reservation. Narcisse Navarre takes a hold of the reader with her robust compassion and we are transported to a dreamed lan. "I want to escape with Gia into this dreamworld of erotic fantasy" according to Marc Exsurgent. This isn't typically the type of books I buy but I was surprisingly satisfied after reading this erotica novella. For the first, and hopefully not last, published novella by this author the story reads smooth and easy. Imaginative and descriptive, Narcisse takes you to that grove in Italy and makes you want to stay. Repeating the words tweeted by a friend about the author, Narcisse, her words are sensual magic! Not only a published author, she is also a twitter poetlook her up!
