I then had to head off to bed, so my memories are slightly muddled, so forgive any factual bits I forget. First off, this entry felt even a bit more like being dropped into the middle of the plot. Gary's sister and her daughter now live in Mercilessland (formerly the Night Walker's estate). He's apparently been spending the last year or so trying to restore Mandy and has become a major force in the criminal world, as well as part of the top 1% despite attempting to donate as much ill-gotten goods to charity as he can.The main plot was serviceable, following G. "Excellent addition to the series" according to Robert. The third book of this series delivers a fantastic story of action, heartbreak, anger, and humor.. Some Average Guy said I regret my purchase.. The first two books were very strong anti-hero tales that had good plot, humor, characters, etc. There were some amazing moments in them. This one though… I don’t know what this one was but I can definitely say it wasn’t good. By the points:-With this book the first half is basically the character Merciless complaining. About his dead wife. About his money. About his hot chick that wants him. We also get complaints from other characters like the cloak, like his family, etc.-Per the point above, I literally had to force myself to read through to the finish.
