Rated a Top Career Book By The L.A. Times I googled this book and it was rated one of the top career books by the L.A. Times and syndicated columnist Joyce Lain Kennedy in 2005. I agree,this was the best career book that I have ever read! It turns a boring subject like resume preparation into book that I couldn't put down (it made my butt numb, but it was well worth it!) The techniques that Meier lays out are unlike any other resume book that I have read(it is amazing that most resume bo. "One of a kind" according to Kate. The book is unique. It is not a usual "how-to" advise, it really show how to make difference and how to sell yourself.. The World's Greatest Resumes (for business people, that is) This book is useful only if you can measure your accomplishments in dollars and cents. Useless to anyone dealing with people. I was looking for a way to translate teaching experience to seek employment in another career. If you are not a number cruncher skip this book.
