Even though the essays reflect current research, they offer practical and straight-forward advice. I'm ordering a copy for all the consultants at my Writing Center!. "Came fast and in perfect time for class" according to Mery. Also good to read for any would-be Writing/English teachers, no matter how far along they may be (for me this is my second semester.) I am learning a ton even if it is directed more at "Writing Centers" than "Tutoring Centers." I may end up keeping it at work to read an reference when needed,
