I love Belle and thought this would be great to read I love Belle and thought this would be great to read with my six year old over the summer. We will enjoy it but I wish it had more pictures. There's a small pic at the start of each chapter and at the end of some. Other than that minor detail, great buy. "Nice Story for Young Girls" according to NitroNarc. I purchased this story to read to my daughters. They are ages five and nine. Both of them remained interested in the story. The illustrations in the book are stunning on the Kindle Fire. The kids and I love the illustrations for their detail and beauty. This book is a bit wordy, so I believe it is more meant for the parent to read to the child rather than for the child to read to themselvesunless the child is a bit older. The illustrations are on eve. This was a great influence in her to explore a mystery This book kept my five year daughters attention the whole time. I had planned to read one chapter and then take a break. However, she insisted I keep reading. I read the entire book to her at one time. Then, she wanted to create her own message.
