At first I was disappointed because it didn't contain more recipes for making household cleaners from scratch, but after sitting down with the book and reading it, I ended up giving it a place of honor in a basket of recipes on my kitchen counter. It has great recipes and simple directions. I can see why the other person gave it poor ratings because it is an easy to read cookbook for the the somewhat experieneced cook. Thats why I love it beacuse its to the point without all the "fluff". It is also easily adjusted from large to small families.The seasoning recipes are awes
