Honest & Truthful This book is the first about WWII air combat that made me feel like I was a participant, not a spectator. The experiences related by the author were a grim reminder of the perils of war & the difficulties of survival. Those brave men & women had to contend not only with the enemy but also weather & mechanical problems that were just as deadly.
