I loved that Russell has a "Aspire". He is so torn between being in love with Evie and feeling the pull of Anya as his Aspire, that you can feel his emotions. We might be enemies right now Anyway, I will say there are many new exciting and unexpected twists! More answers on how Evie came to be are given out gradually throughout the book. Of course, with some answers come more quest. "Can't wait to read the next one!" according to SusieQ. In preparation to read the final book in the series I read the first four again For like the third time. I love this series and it really demonstrates the healthy aspects of love and family for those who seek alternatives to what they have.
