The first edition is still relevant and certainly less academic I used this text for a class I teach. I compromised on this one and looking back I firmly believe the 1st edition is much more true to real GIS project management than this new edition. The 1st edition was much more technical and to the extent that you can get past it's being written in the '90s it actually still has a lot of great evaluative methods I know I use as a GIS Professional.The second edition is
