Four Stars Good biography. "Antonia Fraser's Doppelganger" according to Patrick Odaniel. I read this book and Antonia Fraser's biography back to back, and was struck by the eerie similarities between the two--both had great affection for their subject, while recognizing her obvious flaws and foibles. Written in 1908 his style of writing is archaic and challenging to read. Some passages read like stream of consciousness with him interjecting jabs at contemporary English government.
