If I have figured out the ending halfway through, why finish?The Jefferson Tayte series is a 'TEN' in my book. It is well written and well edited. The details are well researched and the story lines are full of twists and turns. The characters in To The Grave were beautifully portrayed ( I really hated M. Life in England during WWII I was a little girl during WWII and though we lived in the USA rather than England, the structure of daily life rang true. Tayte is investigating the family of a woman who had been adopted, and along the path learns the story of a complicated family struggling through the war and war time morality. I was fascinated.. great mystery I love genealogy and mysteries. This story was very well written and had all the elements in a story I look for: great characters, suspense, interest in subject and holds my interest from the 1st page. I am starting book 2. No doubt I will read all that will be written in this series
