The colors are vivid and really capture the designs of these machines wonderfully. The photography in the book is just beautiful, the color so vivid and rich. Based on what my stepdad said, the book is not comprehensive, but includes select or notable models so don't expect an encyclopedia. Overall, he was pleased with the surprise gift.
