Very interesting FantSweetGirl So overall I really like this book. There were some grammatical errors but not enough to take away from the story. The book mostly follows this girl Rose White, who has recently left her abusive husband and is trying to stay under the radar. She ask for help from a detective, who we also follow, but he can offer her no help. However, he is working on his own case to find out who has been on a murdering spree. Next we follow the black jester, who has his own agenda, along with a few others, to bring justice to the city. I really liked the storyline and it kept me interested until the end, which is great, but at some poin. "interesting characters, Intriguing story, light romance, some action" according to Ash. At 184 pages I read it at night in one sitting.So I liked Rose I think she made a decent character and her predicament was one that was interesting and heartbreaking.I like the idea of the Kings of New Orleans and them having Jesters to help protect the people. We seem to meet the Jesters when they are younger in the prologue and I liked trying to guess what name went with what Jester. The Black Jester of course being the star of the story was really interesting he seemed to be one of those dark troubled characters who deep down have a sweet side. Chelsea said loved it. I don't usually read these types of books but I have got to say I really enjoyed. The way the story flowed was insteresting and made me want to continue reading to find out what happens next. This king dude and gold jester are kind of pissing me off but you have to have those characters that you hate to really get a great story.I really liked that it went back and forth between characters and you never really knew who characters were until near the end. I can't wait to see where this series goes. It will be interesting to see the end goal.Rose was a great character although she had a dark past. I am glad that even thoug
