Amazon Customer said And you thought your high school days were tough!. This first published book by this bright, young author is a very imaginative, well thought out, and enjoyable read. Her characters ring true, even though they are supposed to be monsters, and draw you into the story. There is just the right level of detail and description, letting you bring your own imagination into visualizing the girls and their school, and the dialogue doesn't seem contrived or out of character for the speaker. Her choice of character names is clever and illustrates her depth of etymology. This is the perfect fantasy lit read for any teen.. This review was written by Danny Marcus It's hard to believe that this book was written by a young teenage girl. It was very well written with a lot of surprises. The name alone "Demon High,"sounds like it is very dark, but I did not see it that way. It is very enjoyable and an easy read.Be on the lookout for Alina's next book. I think we may be looking at the next JK Rowling.
