Like Vegetable Soup. What else could we throw into this implausible plot? We have a cold, sarcastic, unfeeling drone of a heroine, a could-be-great hero enmeshed in a silly plot where he is kidnapped, drugged, and emerges as some female warlord's son, a story line which is not only unbelievable, but has a jungle drug king auctioning off a thermoblast weapon which he obtained God knows where, and a sudden ending which is partially inconclusive. A grave disappointment from a good author. I skipped many pages; you should skip it all together.. I really enjoyed Gideon and Riva's story, it was really great, once someone reads one of her stories they will g back to find all her other books, that's how good Cherry Adair is..
